Ethiopia Dub Journey II
The remix by Brasilian graphic artist, Dubdem, of Amastara’s richly illustrated and very personal account of a trip into the ancient country of Ethiopia. Indigenous culture and philosophy from North America blend with ancient Ethiopian knowledge in this new version.
This is a unique book detailing a journey into the ancient country of Ethiopia and linking it with Rastafari in Jamaica, Native American and indigenous cultures from South America.
The book is rich images one normally does not get to see from ancient Ethiopia to Native Americans who centuries back wore dreadlocks.
This is a book inspired by Dub music.
Kebra Ethiopia Sound from South Africa wrote us to say “This is truly humbling work, this book is on another level”
Famed jungle artist Natty Congo loved the book as did Jamaican roots singer Jah9 who described it as” beautiful work”
A possible roots reggae, nyabinghi and dub vinyl based on and inspired by this book is on the works.
